Independent Status Reports The independent status reports include news and updates from Mozilla application and extension projects hosted on mozdev.org and elsewhere in the Mozilla community. The latest report was posted on December 21, 2003 and includes: Forumzilla v0.4.2, an extension to Mozilla and Thunderbird for reading RSS feeds, A rewrite is underway that lets you read RSS feeds in the applications' three-pane mail interfaces. A very early, buggy, pre-alpha version is available. http://forumzilla.mozdev.org/ Bugxula 2003-12-08, a XUL client for Bugzilla installations, has in recent versions included many enhancements and fixes including working better with Bugzilla 2.17.5 (looks for config.cgi instead of localconfig.rdf). http://bugxula.mozdev.org/ MozManual - Final 1.0, an introduction to Mozilla - a Manual for First Time Users; a brief overview and feature guide, has reached final version 1.0. This is a complete PDF file with bookmarks and hyperlinks. Also included is a "reviewer's guide" to address FAQs and similar issues. http://mozmanual.mozdev.org/ Moji - v0.6, an integrated Japanese dictionary for non-native speakers, has added Japanese to French and Japanese to German dictionaries. There are user interface enhancements (new icons, color to distinguish between kanji and words in history list). http://moji.mozdev.org/ ConQuery - v0.5a, a context sensitive web query interface extention for Mz/Fb/Nc, new in this release is a restyled Query Config dialog gives you full control on query variables, multiple [:prompt] variables are now supported, and usability improvements. http://conquery.mozdev.org/ Launchy - v1.5.0, opens Links/Mailto with external programs, with notable highlights of autodetection of applications and an uninstall option. http://gemal.dk/mozilla/launchy.html Keyword Repository, enhance your Internet Experience with Custom Keywords Galore, this project is just getting started.
