Since there is an easy work around I'm not sure it is even worth changing. Also if I do make the change inevitably someone will complain that it is no longer opening in a new tab. I'll think about it though. I don't see a reason to keep a empty tab/window under FF once others tab/windows are opened. But if another user complains of this, you will do what you will want. It might be possible by righting a seperate component, but that is way beyond the scope of what the extension does and will also break compatibility between XP, MAC and Linux. In other words, it isn't going to happen. Sorry. If you have a Windows machine you can set up a sound file to play which can alert you if the screen is off. ----- Original Message ---- From: John Beekman To: ymnotifier@mozdev.org Sent: Saturday, March 11, 2006 1:15:09 PM Subject: [Ymnotifier] blink keyboard LED? The function that i would like is to do a "Check Now" without opening a tab or a window with Yahoo! Mail. This function exists today but we have to use the right clic and choose this function "Check Now" in the menu. I would like to do a Left double clic to do a "Check Now". I already do a Left clic simple to Open the Yahoo! Mail. Can you implement it ? I may add this functionality in the future because of issues some people have with the Companion feed that my extension uses, but it requires a number of modifications to work which aren't trivial. ----- Original Message ---- From: Tom Spec To: ymnotifier@mozdev.org Sent: Friday, March 17, 2006 3:02:13 PM Subject: [Ymnotifier] Feature Request It would be AWESOME if there was a way to configure Yahoo Mail Notifier to check only the Inbox for new mail.
