On some accounts, Yahoo! never updates the companion feed page (http://update.companion.yahoo.com/slv/v4/not) when new mail arrives (you never see new mail notifications). I do not know why this happens and it is completely out of my control. If you notice that you never receive new mail notifications from my extension, try installing Yahoo Toolbar (either for Internet Explorer or Firefox) and see if new mail notifications show up there. If they don't you'll need to contact Yahoo! and tell them new mail notification isn't working in Yahoo! messenger and toolbar. I may put a work around for this in the future, but it is not a trivial fix and not high on my list of priorities. but It did use to work at one point but then it just stopped...any help would be appreciated,Thanks.
