Hi,

I have been trying to get Mozilla printing via Xprint to work properly
on the Epson LQ680 Dot Matrix Printer on a 2.6.6 kernel Linux system.
It prints a beautiful test page via cups unfortunately when mozilla
prints via Xprint->cups->printer the pages prints at roughly 10x the
size of a normal page meaning it only fits 1/10th of the page onto the
actual page.

I have tried to modify /etc/Xprint/print/attributes/document 's
resolution, it seems to have no effect.

The next thing to try would be to create my own model-config for the
Epson printer however, I have been unable to find any document or any
other documentation which specifies the syntax and layout of the
model-config file... the ppd to model-config utility isn't available yet
for me to convert from cups' ppd file.

The printer is fine with Open Office 1.1.1. There is also a Kyocera
Mita FS-1010 on the system which works fine for Mozilla via Xprint, so
that at least is working however the dot matrix does not seem to be
working correctly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Ben Wang
