I did need changes for Cairo, along with a couple of other things.

It doesn't work on SeaMonkey; presumably a binary compatibility issue. I 
don't plan to do any further work on this.

Excellent question. I don't currently know enough details about how the 
official builds are produced in order to produce a Linux build. I'll 
give it a try when I get the chance.
