[wikipedia.mozdev] Adding WYSIWIG functionality to this extension?

Hi,

Doesn't look like this mailing list is very utilized as yet, but Ifigure I'll drop this here since the link to the wiki on this project'spage is coming up 404 now.

Love this Wikipedia FireFox extension.   Thanks tomaker;  I wish there was a PayPal tip cup set up for this project.

Are there plans add something in the vein of WYSIWIG functionality to this extension?  

I have no idea what would be involved in implementing such, or even ifit would be something that is in the realm of the possible given needto render/write/integrate MediaWiki markup, but wanted to postsomewhere to express some user interest since it doesn't look like aWYSI editor is going to be incorporated into MediaWiki too soon.

For what it's worth, there's a cool extension that adds some WYSIWIG toYahoo Mail at http://patsis.brownhost.com/extxpi.html#ewebmail . It has a simple table editor, which IMHFO is maybe the most needed WYSIfunctionality for Wikipedia.  Simple text markup doesn't scarepeople too bad, but editing tables' text does.
