I'm searching for a solution, that allows "imap-like" access to yahoo, hotmail, or to an other mail service. I found this great plugin-package for Thunderbird, installed it, but i can only see, that the an imap-server is running on localhost, but nothing happens. If i open Thunderbird, and then the control panel for Webmail package, there isn't any imap server listed. I can only see the pop and smtp server list. I installed the Yahoo and Lycos plugin, but nothing happens (on the help page "http://webmail.mozdev.org/setup.html" showing to set up an account, there is e.g lycos.co.uk as imap server). Is it possible to use imap protokoll with Webmail-plugin on yahoo or hotmail, or on an other service? Thank you for your answer!
