I get headers and body if I use WEBDEV. I can get headers only if I use the screen scrape rather than WEBDEV. I used Norton Go Back to return my system to version 0.10.12. Any Ideas on this one? Thanks. Webmail is only for Thunderbird. Not Firefox. In order to install Webmail into Thunderbird, follow the instructions below: 1. Download the Webmail extension onto your Desktop. 2. Start Thunderbird 1.5.0.4. 3. Click Tools > Extension. 4. Drag and drop the Webmail extension into your Extension window. 5. Click install, then restart Thunderbird. You may want to download other Webmail related extensions such as those for Yahoo and Hotmail. Install and configure according to instructions given on Webmail website. I had erroneously assumed that firefox would automatically install it into thunderbird. Your instructions are great, and it would be terrific if they were on the webmail website. Unfortunately I am stuck after this. I have created a new webmail account in thunderbird corresponding to my {username}@yahoo.com, following the Account Setup instructions on the WebMail page, but when I try to get mail I get the error: Sending of username did not succeed. Main server localhost responded: undefined is a unsupported domain I get the same error when I try making a thunderbird for my hotmail account and download mail. I must be doing something very simple wrong. Many thanks, Roger Ho Kian Kheong wrote: > Err..... Webmail is only for Thunderbird. I must be doing something very simple wrong. If I were to hazard a guess, I would guess that you have installed the extension and forgotten to restart Thunderbird to activate it. Another possibility is that you did not include @yahoo.com in the username, which means that the extension could not determine which domain name to use (there are more than one that use the same protocol as Yahoo if I recall). -- Annihilannic From hoffbrinkle at hotmail.com Fri Jul 21 11:30:31 2006 From: hoffbrinkle at hotmail.com (Michael Hordijk) Date: Fri Jul 21 11:50:12 2006 Subject: [Webmail] (no subject) Message-ID: > I'm currently working on the IMAP components for Lycos and Hotmail > (Webdav) and if I can get them to work I'll include them in the next > release. That would be really cool. I've been wanting to get an IMAP solution for a while now. Even started looking at finishing the hotway IMAP support at one time. If you need any help on this implementation, lemme know. I'm excited to see it work. - hoffer
