[Vimperator] Search command (s///) plugin

Please folks...
I see editors acquiring web browsers, and now web browsers acquiring
editors! Pretty soon it'll all vanish in a puff of infinite recursion
:-)
Seriously, I love the fact that pressing Ctrl-I gets me true VIM, with
*all* the power of real vim, for some serious text area editing (such
as this email, for instance). That alone allowed me to get rid of an
extension called "ItsAllText" or something that anyway hadn't been
ported to FF3.
The problem I see with the approaches being worked out is: where do
you stop? hjkl, :s///, what next?
I hate to be a party-pooper and I hope you good folks doing such
wonderful work will not misunderstand what I am saying, or think I am
being discouraging, but please do think about it!
[I'd rather see some more scriptability of sessions. For example,
whenever I go to an article from LinuxToday, I usually click the
"Complete Story" link anyway. Right now, I have that set as part of
my "nextpattern" and so I can do "]]" and go there. But it would be
cool to associate autocommands with specific URLs, that would
autmatically follow that link, or indeed "play back" any recorded
script! After all, we have record/playback, we have auto-commands, so
why not?]
Best regards,
Sitaram
