[Vimperator] Pasting of URLs

I fairly often want to visit a link sent to me via a text email.  If 
these links are too long mutt inserts new lines into the URL, and when I 
paste that into an :open vimperator 0.5.3 says:

Not an editor command: 
open http://...
...
...

(1) Could vimperator figure out that the paste is all one action and 
remove \n automatically?  (2) When you are about to paste in a URL and 
already hit o or t, could vimperator accept the input in the main window
in addition to just the "ex" command line?

The best work-around is to use urlview with mutt for both of these, so
you avoid copy and paste in the first place but these two enhancements 
would still be nice to have.
