[Vimperator] Escape 'Unescape'

I use the escape key now without much thought, and it works well for jumping accessing various vimperator functions etc - my problem is, if I have a text field selected and hit escape, to say switch tabs etc, then come back - I have to either Tab+Shift Tab to reset the focus, or use hints, or manually select the text field with my mouse - is there a means of 'Unescaping', e.g.: returning the focus to whatever field the cursor may be in?
