[Vimperator] asciidoc help does not show but crashes my ff3

I did some experiments triggered by Martin's mail about transition to asciidoc. I installed asciidoc 8.2.1, checked out and built the latest version from svn as indicated at http://vimperator.cutup.org/index.php?title=Installing_from_CVS

I installed the xpi and get some funny behaviour:

1) First time :Help shortly displays something which is probably the new help documentation, but this gets immediately overwritten with the old help text

2) Second :Help (from the help window) crashes firefox, always.

Did I miss something?

The installed jar file does contain a locale/en-US directory with the html files and the css file.
