[Vimperator] help with resetting my firefox

Ok, I tried starting with a new profile and it still happens
(including the <Esc> behavior I mentioned below). I verified that
there are no addons except TalkBack and DomInspector. Here is a
screenshot taken right after starting with the new profile for the
first time:

I am hoping it is for good, as this means, my profile itself is still
good? Shall I just try reinstalling firefox in a clean directory? Will
I be loosing any settings (I think not, just confirming).

I don't think I follow you. In any case, as I indicated above, the
problem shows up with a clean profile too. If you think it is
important, I could remove the two default extensions as well and see
if it is any different, but I doubt it.
