I know, this also is a little strange to me, but we just followed vim
here, and want to be compatible.
gt also will stay non relative, since I really prefer it that way and
it's also the way vim works. In CVS i have added (non vim-like) g0 and
g$ mappings to go to the first or last tab page - very useful IMHO.
