[Vimperator] Vimperator "hangs" in hint mode

Hi,

first of all, thanks for putting together a very cool and 
useful addon to Firefox. It replaces at least five other
addons that I used to have, and adds lots of very groovy 
stuff in addition.

But, I have an issue which occurs regularly, and I wonder 
whether it's only my installation or a general problem/bug:
Vimperator tends to "hang" in "hints mode", especially if I
press "f" before a page has loaded completely. The command
line reads "-- HINTS (quick) --" and the hints are shown,
but they don't work and neither does most other keys. The
expection is CTRL-N/P for next/previous tab, which still
work. Pressing ESC, "f" or any other key doesn't help. The
only remedy is restarting Firefox. 

Does this happen to other users also?
Is there some way of "restarting" just Vimperator without
a full restart (which takes ~1 minute...)?
