I cannot help smiling. :-) Funny requirement.
If you are using gmail and vimperator, its almost certain that you would have 'I'ed the vimperator. But having escapes for individual apps is not a good idea. You require for reader, groups then. Better is 'I' only. Quite a handy feature.
