Thanks for your interest in vimperator, unfortunately translating it is
not yet possible, maybe in a future release, but do not count on it.

Also a big problem is, that there probably aren't enough translators,
and the translations will be quite outdated quickly.

To your network problem, you might have success with:
http://fasterfox.mozdev.org/
but i am not sure, and it could make things even worse.
