I think, that's his problem, it's probably not that comfortable to press
'I' all the time. I would suggest using a
:map \g :buffer! gmail<cr>I
in the next vimperator version 0.5.2, then \g will switch to the gmail
tab and activate the ignorekeys mode. and just <esc> to leave it.
