I don't have to search tooo much about messages, I just know that
things works really very easy on thunderbird (I force people to
use thunderbird hehe, where I give pc-support, so I know it from
there).

that's quite a matter of 'taste' I guess. I 'love' text-only too.

on vimperator (CVS or however) you can use vim for editing
text-boxes. (pressing C-i). I think that should be possible in
thunderbird too)
