I -- the main vimperator developer -- am currently using mutt myself,
and i am really disapointed, as it just sucks. I have plans for a
"Muttator" -- a vimperator like thunderbird extension, but until
thunderbird supports maildir for its email storage, i will not do it.
When -- and it is slated for TB 3.0 -- it supports it, there probably
will be something like you want soon.
However, since FF4.0 will depend on JS2.0, i might wait for that to port
vimperator to thunderbird.
If you want to port vimperator to Thunderbird right now, tell me, i will
help you with that.
