The DOMNodeInserted or similar event exists.

Much better, although there still are often 2 spaces instead of one.

You may also have a look at conkeror.mozdev.org, it is something like
vimperator for emacs users.

BTW: Your suggestions seem nice, and I'd really love to have regexp
support in vimperator, but it's not high on the TODO list, so you seem
to have some knowledge about such things, so the best thing really would
be to write a patch (against CVS), otherwise regexp search will have to
wait until firefox supports it probably.

PS: It's sometimes hard to follow your messages, as you seem to jump
around quickly with your thoughts ;) No offence meant, still good you
give some input.
