For google, an :open keyword will suffice, there is support for :open <searchengine> keyword
but that changed for 0.5 CVS, don't know how it was handled in 0.4.1
anymore.

If you are in any hint mode (showing HA e.g.), H should be disabled, use
ctrl-o/i then.

Have you used "f"? then it should work exactly like you want (without
pressing return);

Normally I always answer questions speedily, but I really want users to
read the :help before asking questions.
