Only with the mouse or the default caret mode for now, so press
<C-v><F7>, an you should be able to move the text cursor with the cursor
keys, and select text with Shift+cursor keys.

A better keyboard selection mechanism will come, but that's in the far
future, if we don't receive patches for that.
