[Vimperator] The 0.6 quickhints mode

I've tried out the 0.6 version with FF3, and as much as I appreciate the
idea behind the new quickhints mode, where one types part of the link name,
I really don't like it. One, the use of the number keys is much more
inconvenient than the letter combinations that can be customized by the
user, and two, frequently, e.g. when googling, a lot of the links on a page
will have the same text, so one either has to spend some time figuring out
which part of the link to type to make it distinctive, or type a lot, or
use a combination of letters and numbers. All in all, much slower than the
0.5 way.
Would it be possible to choose between the two, even in 0.6?
