Hey!

If you want to do hazardous testing on your bookmarks, you can always
back them up beforehand. They're located in bookmarks.html
Just make sure you back up the one that actually has your bookmarks. ;)

oliver at Ra:~$ locate bookmarks.html
/home/oliver/.mozilla/firefox/vkuuxfit.default/bookmarks.html
/etc/firefox/profile/bookmarks.html

The top one is the correct one for me, while the bottom one is the
default bookmarks you'll get if you create a new profile in Firefox.
