[Vimperator] 0.5 not working for me

Ok,

to be precise:
(when 0.5 was out)
1- I had 0.4.1 installed
2- I manually updated to 0.5 (installed the new version over the old version)
3- restarted, and it didn't work
4- removed 0.5 and reinstalled 0.4.1
5- restarted and it worked
(today, when 0.5 is out on updates.mozilla.org)
6- firefox automatically updated at startup to 0.5 from 0.4.1 (no need
to restart there) and it didn't work
7- disabled every addons but vimperator
8- restarted, didn't work
9- removed 0.5, restarted
10- installed manually 0.5, restarted, didn't work
11- removed 0.5, installed 0.4.1
12- works fine with 0.4.1

Another precision, the gray bottom bar added by vimperator does appear
with the 0.5, but is empty: no way to type commands in it, but also no
display of the current URL, number of pages, loading throttle, etc...
