[Vimperator] 0.5 not working for me

Hello,

I was going fine with the last 0.4.1 version. When 0.5 was out I
updated it on both my computer and nothing was working, so I went back
to 0.4.1. Today update.moz updated the extension without me noticing
so I am back with a 0.5 version and it still doesn't work.
So I decided to investigate and let you know.

On two different installations of Firefox 2.0.0.6, on OS X (intel) and
Linux, I have the same problem. I disabled all the other extension and
went back to the default theme (and tried whitehart).
I can see the command line at the bottom of the window, under the
status bar, but it doesn't seem to get focus, I can't type any of the
shortcuts or commands. ctrl+d which shouldn't need the focus of the
command bar for example doesn't work either, quick hints neigher...
The title bar says "Mozilla Firefox" and not vimperator...

it's like vimperator was not installed, but it's the only extension enabled.

Not sure what to do next to find out more about the problem.
