I think you'll find it was a problem with Vimperator. It was skipping
the Bookmarks Toolbar Folder entirely when loading bookmarks due to a
quirk in the FF API. This is now fixed on the 0.5 CVS branch.

These aren't internal shortcuts. They're the installed search engines
- those available in the toolbar's search field.
