[Vimperator] Javascript interference

When I go to pages like finance.google.com that have fields with
autocompletion via javascript, Esc doesn't seem to switch to vimperator
command mode. 

Is there some setting/feature I don't know about? If not, what are the
chances of that being fixed in the future?
