You can't.

That difference is important, since you should be able to browse a long
page with ;aa<pagedown>,bb,cc,<pagedown>,ddo and open these 4 links.

for just quickly opening a visible link, use f;

However, hints are scheduled for a rewrite after 0.5 is released anyway,
and I am still not yet sure about the semantics, it may change
dramatically but who knows, it all depends how fast Firefox3 is.
