I just found an 'Extension Uninstaller' extension at

(Apparently it can also be used to uninstall itself :-)

(Note: I downloaded and ran the Uninstaller xpi, but it was only when 
I reloaded Moz and accessed the Uninstaller (Tools->Extension 
Uninstaller) that it /then/ installed the Uninstaller API.)

I thought I'd wait and see if anyone had a clue as to why urss isn't 
working here before testing the uninstaller on it.
