OK, done that ... er, see below.

This doesn't work, I can click any menu item and nothing
happens.

I can see all the menu items and even click through to
for example options -> Id policy -> Identify by site ...
and what's more the little dot identifying the selection
seems to stick.  (Same for CA Info policy).

But no menu item causes anything more than that.

ok, see 4 attached.  The 3rd simply indicates that I
can type in the box whatever I like and the setting
doesn't stick.
