hi niko,
could you add following patch. This Patch enables Thunderbird and other
E-Mail-Clients (like mutt) to display "Info-Text" (not "kolab.xml"-part)
automatically.

Thanks for this.. I already integrated and built a new nightly (actually
stable) - Lets see when it comes to addons.mozilla.org :)

sorry, this patch wont work. Here is the correct one.
This patch enables E-Mail-Clients to display the first mime-part automatically. ->

Subject: [Synckolab] Bugs (maybe together with Birdiesync)
Message-ID: <47FCBC27.20807@onlinehome.de>
Hi!
I am using SyncKolab 0.6.0 with always up-to-date-TB and Lightning. OS
is also uptodate Vista64 (Desktop) and XP32 (Laptop).
Server is an IMAP server with separate folders for each sync category.
The application likes to delete contacts in a seemingly random way. But
there are some contacts which are especially likely to be deleted
(several times now).
Also, it creates MASSES of duplicates. Again, some contacts are more
likely to be duplicated than others. Why-I cant tell.
On my laptop, it sometimes deletes simply EVERYTHING (which is a lot).
Then, after some time, it starts re-copying everything from the server
to the laptop and all is back to normal. It seems that it only re-copies
if the desktop has checked on the server once.
Sometimes, it does not propagate deletions. I delete contacts on my
Desktop - and Kolab writes them back, taking the (older) server-versions
as source instead of the (newer, now deleted) desktop versions.
Maybe this is a hint: Connected with my desktop is a mobile phone
(WinMobile 6.0) which I synchronize using BirdieSync. I am not sure but
maybe there is some kind of incompatibility?
As it is, the application is unfortunately in absolutely no way usable
for me - too bad, it could be extremely useful - hoping for a solution :)
If there are questions just mail me
Greetings

Hi,
i have the same Problems with Win XP and Linux, but with calendar Entrys.
And i don't use any other Software for syncing, like BirdieSync or
something else.
At the Moment i used synckolab 5.3 instead 6.0. That works.

Hello.

Thunderbird 2.0.0.12 (20080227)
Synckolab 0.6.0
Lightning 0.8 (2008033118)
I'm syncing my local tasks with Gmail imap-server. Synckolab is deleting
tasks in one replication and creating 'em in next replication again.
How can I fix this?
ps: Tasks created on national language (ru) but folders on server has
english names.

I have this problem too. Tried the stable relese and the nightly but
both demonstrate the same behavior - removes tasks and events on first
run, then puts them back on the next, then repeats the cycle.
Im at work so can't dig out any logs, but im running a ClarkConnect
distro, using the groupware beta which is built from the following
(copied from the release notes):
The build uses the following release candidates from Horde and Kolab:
Kolab 2.2 RC2
Horde 3.2 RC3 (framework)
Horde IMP 4.2 RC3 (webmail)
Horde Turba 2.2 RC3 (address book)
Horde Ingo 1.2 RC2 (mail filters)
Horde Kronolith 2.2 RC2 (calendar)
Horde Nag 2.2 RC2 (tasks)
Horde Mnemo 2.2 RC2 (notes)

Hi
My calender synchronization fails.
I use

- Lightning 0.8 (with Sunbird 0.8)

When I start synckolab, contacts get sychronized pretty well. When it
come to calender entries the message
"No items have been found on the server, but there are local items. ...".
So far, this is as expected.
If I click the OK button, the message box will disappear and the
synchronization will hang up. Nothing further happens.

I attached the appointment it tries to synchronize. But it also fails for

Subject: [Synckolab] sync problem
Message-ID: <4817047E.6040406@zes.uni-bremen.de>
To whom it may concern,
I installed Sync kolab 0.6.0 on thunderbird 2. If I change my local
files, always the server version overwrites my changes. How can I change
adress data locally and save it on the server???
Best regards,
Stephan K?ppe
