[Synckolab] Store VCard in multi-part message?

Hi all,

Would it be feasible to store Kolab contacts in multi-part MIME
messages on the IMAP server (i.e., change the contact mail format)?

A pro for this approach could be the handing of the stored messages in
case a "Kolab-unaware" client (that is, for example, a Thunderbird
client without SyncKolab add-on) in a remote location wants to import
the stored contacts. The same is already possible with VCalendar entries
(as TB already recognizes the special mail content) by clicking on the
"import event" button TB shows up.
AFAICS Thunderbird recognizes VCards only in form of a multi-part
attachment (which TB produces when "attach VCard" is selected, see
example below).
