I find no way to clear the Search box permanently, and the answers in the sidebar keep popping up continuously, even if I try to return to the normal Firefox Bookmarks sidebar. Perhaps you might help me with this. Thank you. Yours sincerely, Kristian Kard?n Finland -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... This will display a dialog with an option for turning off the auto opening of the SearchSidebar when you perform a search. I'm not sure what you mean by "clear the Search box permanently", could you elaborate? It will require some customization. You are welcome to modify the source code of the SearchSidebar to make it work in Netscape 8. It is certainly possible for someone to make; however, it is not the focus of our project and may be difficult for us to maintain. P.S. I use Netscape at work and would not mind having it available there. However, Netscape 8 is a MS Windows only product making it difficult for me to work on. (I use Mac and Linux at home.) If I find some time during the day I may take a stab at it, but it is more important to the project that we get SearchSidebar working as well as we can in Firefox. Regards, Mat
