[Sage] Sage uninstall problem

I installed Sage into Firefox 1.0.7, and then uninstalled it because I
couldn't figure out how Sage worked.
 
After the uninstall, an empty sidebar always appears on Firefox start-up
- and I can't close the sidebar.  I click on the red "x" and it doesn't
close.  I have to bring up "history" (which populates the empty sidebar
with history) and then I can close the sidebar by clicking on the red
"x".  But, when I restart Firefox, the empty, uncloseable sidebar comes
back again.
 
How do I fix this so I don't see a blank sidebar when opening Firefox?
