Message-ID: <148ea1c302046700be2633c97b907e4b@ninet.org> First of all I like sage its clean and just works. My request is a simple one. Please Please Please have an option to display the sidebar on the left or right of the screen. This may seem small big imho it is so annoying having it to the left that I have to have it closed the majority of the time. If this can't/won't be added can someone at least tell me what to change to get it to display to the right hand side? -- Regards, Ryan McLean From eakawie at gmail.com Wed Dec 19 12:43:18 2007 From: eakawie at gmail.com (Eric Akawie) Date: Wed, 19 Dec 2007 15:43:18 -0500 Subject: [Sage] Sage and Firefox 3.0 Message-ID: <47698266.3050906@gmail.com> Given the complete overhaul that Bookmarks are getting in FireFox 3.0, my assumption is that Sage will not work with the upgrade. If there are any developers left, has anyone begun looking into what it would take to implement Sage for FF 3.0, or if it's even necessary? I just had a quick try with Firefox 3.0 by simply mangling my install.rdf to accept higher versions. As you suspected, the upgrade breaks the bookmark handling, so the sidebar no longer works. ciao, -- [*Thomas Themel*] And let's not forget USNS Bob Hope. I bet that name inspires [extended contact] the crew as much as the old Flower Class Corvettes did. Newsfox is just unbearably tedious. Wizz is probably the closest in functionality and versatility to Sage, but, without import/export of OPML (which is coming, I gather) it's a bit of a pain getting feeds into. And, it doesn't use bookmarks as it does for Firefox 2.0. Sage used to be a great little reader. As the technology moves away from it and support dwindles, it's on its way to becoming orphan ware. I really like / liked Sage. Is anyone still supporting development? sage-request at mozdev.org wrote: > Send Sage mailing list submissions to > sage at mozdev.org > > To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit > https://www.mozdev.org/mailman/listinfo/sage > or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to > sage-request at mozdev.org > > You can reach the person managing the list at > sage-owner at mozdev.org > > When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific > than "Re: Contents of Sage digest..." > > > Today's Topics: > > 1. I had already tried that when I posted the question, but with your encouragement that this was indeed the way to do it....I went back and straightened ou what ended up being a quirk in where the OPML file was imported.
