[Sage] Unable to add feeds or import OPML (1.3.6 & FF1.5.0.1)

I have installed Sage 1.3.6 to FF1.5.0.1 running on XP Home.

Sage will discover feeds but will not add them - clicking "Add" has no 
effect.
Sage will not import an OPML file - clicking "Next" has no effect.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Sage with the same result.

I have uninstalled Sage again with the aim of finding if Sage leaves 
entries elsewhere and found reference to Sage in the file 'chrome.rdf'.

Do I need to make changes to this file or something else?

Any suggestions gratefully received. I have looked in the Sage wiki, 
placed a message in the FF help forum and searched through this mailist 
archive and although there are plenty of other people who seem to have 
the same problem I haven't found a definitive solution.
