[Sage] Format of RSS item URL rejected

Hi,

I have noticed something odd.

Sage refuses to parse a feed (and says "XML Parse Error") if the link
URL is of the format:

https://bla/something.php?var1=x&var2=y

It's the "&" character it doesn't like.

I have checked another RSS reader, and it doesn't like this either.

Is it possible/legal to express an URL containing a & character sp
that it does not fail XML parsing?

I am using RSS to feed links to an internal website which uses such
"&" characters in it's page URLs.
