Feedburner is a service to optimize feeds in some way and to view how many
subscribers (and readers) you have. They read the feed from your site and
make some changes to it.

That's not another HTML-page, it is XML (look at the source). The XML is
parsed however, so it looks like a normal page, but it IS a feed.

Your on drugs. :-)
If you're using a weblog, Feedburner can give you some really good
information on how many times a day your feed is loaded with what
newsreader. You could compare it to Webstats for HTML-pages...
