[Sage] Feature Request: News Notification

I agree, such a tooltip notification would be awesome! (Maybe a little 
bit like the "New Mail" notification of Outlook 2003, which also 
displays the first line of the incoming message!?)
However, the devs are quite busy these days, amd there's a long list of 
things to be done. So even though I myself think this is an important 
issue, I guess it'll take a while till it's gonna be implemented...
