[Reloadevery] Preserve form data

I'm trying to use ReloadEvery to keep a page which contains a large form 
from timing out when it takes me a long time to fill in the data.  I 
have noticed that when a page which contains filled in fields is 
automatically reloaded using ReloadEvery, the unsubmitted form data is 
lost.  However, if the same page is manually reloaded with the reload 
button all the unsubmitted form data is preserved.

Can ReloadEvery be changed so it preserves form data across a reload? 
It's really frustrating to be in the middle of entering a large form and 
have everything lost when ReloadEvery does a reload.
