I'm using Quotecolors with SeaMonkey 1.1 and TB although I am not using
the 2 version of TB as its still in alpha stage.
But in TB and SM if you click on a box 5 layers (5 boxes) you can click
on each box and a color Palette comes up start with white to varying
shades of Gray to Black (down) there are ten columns going from white to
violet (across) there are 70 (including white and Black) variations of
color.
to have the background color change you must tick the check box
"background".
you also have 5 layers for that as well.
in TB or SM you must go into Preferences appearance > Background and
tick check box use my colors but leave check box ticked use websites
colors (I'm calling out setting for both TB and SM).
Now the back ground you used and font color you chose will show up. if
use system colors remains ticked you'll still get white background.
I made my background the very palest color of yellow which is great on
my eyes.
