[Quotecolors] Quotecolors doesn't seem to work with initials in front of the ">" sign

Hello

I discovered quotecolors and am very pleased with this Thunderbird
extension. But it seems to be failing when people use initials in
front of the quote sign. Granted, not many people quote this way but
some do it and I would like to see the quote colors in that case, too.
Is it possible with the current version of quotecolors?
