In general, I would agree with that.  In most cases clients don't have a very 
strong idea of what they actually want and just end up with something that 
doesn't fit their users very well.

Do you think other redesigns in the Mozilla community have gone poorly (like 
the Mozilla.com redesign for FF3)?
