[Project_owners] Firefox sidebar extension upgrading

Hi,

i have developed a firefox sidebar extension now i need to know what are the
steps required to submit it to firefox addon directory. and other thing is
if i have made some updates in the extension than, how will the old users
get updated wid that change.

any help ..!!
