Done, but now the above update.rdf is not being generated (it seems to be an
empty file).

This might be related to disk problems, as the cvs filesystem seems to be
out of space:

cvs ci -m "update pyshell to test mozdev secure updates" pyshell_0.3.xpi
> can't create temporary directory /mozdev/cvstmp/cvs-serv43415
