[Project_owners] On caching of loaded XML files...

I have question about how caching of remote XML files is handled. Given the
// Executes after the XML file has been loaded
var XMLDoc = document.implementation.createDocument("", "", null);
XMLDoc.onload = function () {
   // ...
// ...
// ...

Would the caching of 'http://some.remote/file.xml' be automatically handled
by Gecko? So if this bit of code is executed twice, would the '
http://some.remote/file.xml' be download only once?
