Who's brilliant idea was that? Please enlighten me. Tabs only work if you have a limited number of pref panels, one of the failures of mozilla firebird.

That's exacty what I was afraid of. Also, it seems like all available extensions with pref panels copied others people work. There should be a framework for this, without the need to copy files over and over.
