Hi, My name is Matthew Thorne, I was wondering if when recompiling FF (as I
haven't done it yet) is there the ability to not have it leave data in
%userprofile%\applic~1\mozilla\
but instead have it pull the data from the thumb drive it self?

Matt,

No recompilation necessary.  It's an option in the upcoming launcher to 
pass in a %USERPROFILE% variable of a directory on the thumb drive.  The 
1.1.1 Beta 4 launcher has it here:
